The Walking Dead is so good at creating characters. We have 2 new ones that look pretty bad ass. Take a look at these new characters taken straight out of the comic book who will be making their way onto the big screen, the big screen in our living rooms.
Michonne is one of the characters that was seen in the very last scene of Season 2 who appeared in front of Andrea when she was alone in the woods.
Michonne is African-American and has 2 zombies tied by the neck attached to her by chains. Here's a shot from of her in the sneak peek of season 3 shown on AMC recently.
Michonne will be played by Danai Gurira. Danai is from Ohio born to parents of Zimbabwean descent.
The executive producers have already told us that a new character called the governor will be introduced in Season 3 who runs the prison that appeared at the end of Season 2.
Season 3 will be taking place inside that prison. Producers have also said that there will be a lot more deaths and bloodshed.
The Governor is played by David Morrissey known for a British mini-series called State of Play. David Morrissey said this about his character: ... people are going to be blown away."
The Governor will be The Walking Dead's new antagonist and eventually Rick Grime's enemy. Season 3 will premiere this fall in October.
