We're amazed at Kanye West premiering his super ambitious short film which he produced, wrote and directed, at the 2012 Cannes Film Festival.
Logan Hill, GQ editor, tweeted this about the story:
"Cruel Summer is the story of a Lamborghini car thief who falls for a beautiful blind Arabic girl who’s father will let them……marry if he can help her see. So he (Kid Cudi) does using strings that lead her around palace to play music"
Beside the plot being extraordinary, the film premiered inside a pyramid with 7 screens playing the film at the same time in the same room with each screen displaying different shots of the same scene.
If that by itself didn't make it a showstopper, it also included music from his newest unreleased album throughout the film to go along with the plot.
For some reason when we go to the film's site right now nothing shows but by the time you see this maybe it'll be out.
